Anthony Garrett (3-0) has stepped in to face fellow unbeaten heavyweight Parker Porter (2-0) Saturday night at BKFC Fight Night Mohegan Sun. Garrett replaces Josh “Huggy Bear” Copeland.
BKFC Fight Night Mohegan Sun takes place at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut. The event streams live on the BKFC + App, Triller TV and DAZN starting at 7pm EST (12am Sunday in the UK).
Porter, a local Connecticut fighter, has impressed in his two previous BKFC appearances. He stopped UFC veteran Chase Gormley in his debut. In his last bout, Parker knocked out former title challenger Dillon Cleckler. Both wins came in the first round.
The devout Garrett, nicknamed “The Warrior of Christ”, has also won all his BKFC bouts by first-round stoppage.
He stopped John Orr in just 16 seconds in his debut before taking out UFC veteran Lavar Johnson at a BKFC Fight Night event in California. Garrett is coming off a win over combat sports veteran Haze Wilson in June. He was supposed to face Chase Gormley in the co-main event before he replaced Copeland in the main event against Porter.
Parker-Garrett promises to deliver plenty of fireworks and a finish inside the distance is almost guaranteed. It’s a great way to end BKFC’s 2025 season.
