Andy Thornton def. Matty Hill-KO Round 1

In the opening bout, Andy Thornton (2-0, 2 KOs) was too powerful for Matty Hill (1-2, 1 KO).

The referee had to restart the fight after it seemed Thornton pushed off the line.

Thornton knocked Hill down with a left jab in the first 30 seconds. He continued pressuring Hill, dropping
him for the second time with another left. Hill couldn’t beat the count and the fight was stopped.

Kieron Sewell def. Patryk Pientnik-TKO

Kieron Sewell made an impressive bare knuckle debut, stopping fellow newcomer Patryk Pientnik.

Pientnik kept a high guard and moved as Sewell pressured, bobbing and weaving to stay under Pientnik’s punches.

Sewell got the better of the action but Pientnik was able to open cuts over Sewell’s left eye and high on the forehead.

In round two, Pientnik finally succumbed to Sewell’s assault. After getting knocked down for the second time, Pientnik arose on wobbly legs and the bout was halted.

Middleweight: Gaz Corran def. Danny Moir-KO Round 1

Gaz Corran (2-0, 2 KOs) showed impressive power in stopping Danny Moir in the final BKFC 81 prelim.

Corran was the aggressor and landed punishing shots on the courageous Moir.

Moir was cut and in trouble, with Corran scoring effectively with body shots and uppercuts. A Corran right uppercut got through and Moir went down.

He tried getting up but Moir was steadying himself with a hand on the canvas when the referee counted him out at the 1:45 mark.
