Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship returns tonight with BKFC 82, taking place at the Prudential Center in New Jersey, USA.
The ceremonial weigh-ins were held Friday evening, with UFC superstar and BKFC part-owner Conor McGregor and BKFC President David Feldman presiding.
Unbeaten bare knucklers and UFC veterans “Platinum” Mike Perry and Jeremy Stephens both made weight for their main event showdown. The fight is for the “King of Violence” belt.
In the co-feature, female bare knuckle legend and women’s flyweight champ Christine Ferea moves up in weight to face bantamweight queen Jessica Borgia. The champion vs champion showdown is for the inaugural “Queen of Violence” title.
The fight is at a catchweight of 137 lbs. Ferea normally competes at 125 lbs, while Borgia fights at 145.
The BKFC 82 featured fight is between UFC veteran and local favourite Jimmie Rivera and Timmy Mason. Mason is a late replacement for former UFC champ Frankie Edgar, and took the fight on a few days notice.
