BKFC 84 Results & Highlights: Hunt Regains Belt in Wild Fight

Lorenzo Hunt regained the BKFC Light Heavyweight Title in spectacular fashion, knocking out Josh Dyer in the first round. The bout headlined BKFC 84 at the Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California on Saturday.

Dyer knocked Hunt down seconds into the match with a right hand. He knocked Hunt down again, and Hunt was stunned. Dyer tried to finish the fight.

Hunt caught Dyer coming in with a huge right hand, flattening the now former champion and the fight was over. The knockout was eerily similar to Hunt’s stoppage win over Mike Richman. In that fight, Hunt was down and in trouble before catching Richman and winning the fight.

After the bout, Hunt called Mike Perry. Hunt challenged Perry to defend the BKFC “King of Violence” belt against him at next year’s Knucklemania in Philadelphia in February.

In the co-feature, Canada’s Drew Stuve improved to 4-0 with a unanimous decision over Zeb Vincent (3-3).

Aspen Ladd Makes Impressive BKFC Debut

Ladd pressured, moving her head and keeping a high guard. She landed some good shots before knocking Bintliff down. After Bintliff got up, a Ladd overhand left dropped her for the second time.

Ladd finished the fight in the clinch. She landed upstairs and downstairs, Bintliff went down and took the full count on a knee.
