Bryce Henry moved closer to a title shot with an impressive second-round knockout win over Roderick Stewart. The catchweight bout headlined BKFC Fight Night Hammond, streamed live on DAZN and the BKFC + App.
Henry worked the jab early, as Stewart kept a tight guard. Henry landed a couple of rights, then went downstairs with a body shot.
A Henry jab got through for a knockdown. Stewart put his left hand over his left eye while down, but gamely got up and finished the round.

The showboating Henry played CHESS with a cornerman between rounds on a corner stool!

A fired-up Stewart winged some punches early in round two. Henry moved away from the bombs and smiled. Stewart got through with a couple of hooks, but Henry was unfazed.
Henry landed an accurate right hand that felled Stewart for the second time. Stewart arose before a body shot decked him for the count near the end of round two.
Checkmate. Official time was 1:59 of round two.
“He’s a tough motherfucker. But I knew he’d get back up. So I’d have to chop him down like a tree. That’s how we did it,” Henry told Cyrus Fees after the match.
“Actually, that’s my fuckin belt,” Henry said, when asked by Fees to call out BKFC’s welterweight champion Julian Lane.
Henry improved to 6-0 (6 KOs) with the win. Stewart, who once competed at heavyweight, is now 2-3.
Vancamp Gets Back on Track
Cameron Vancamp rebounded from a stoppage defeat to Julian Lane, defeating Derrick Findley by TKO in a battle of Indiana natives.
The two fighters clinched early in round one. Referee Blake Grice warned Findley as he pushed Vancamp’s face with his forearm as the two separated.
Vancamp landed a right and some jabs from long range. The shorter Findley tried to slip the punches. They clinched again near the round’s end.

Early in round two, Vancamp landed a short left during a clinch.
The punch hurt Findley, who put his hand on his face before doubling over, hands on knees.
Grice started counting before waving the fight off. The referee told BKFC commentator Sean Wheelock that Findley’s jaw was broken by the punch.

Vancamp improved his BKFC record to 3-2 with the win. Findley slips to 3-4.
“It’s been six years to the day since I fought in Indiana. This is awesome. I have people here, man,” Vancamp told Fees after the fight.
“I want to fight the best people. I want to fight Lane again,” he said.

Maness Beats Randall With Body Shots
In the feature Fight, Nate Maness (2-0) was too much for Tyler Randall (4-4), knocking him down twice with body shots in rounds one and two.
