Henry Continues Climb at BKFC Fight Night Hammond

Unbeaten Bryce Henry will try to move a step closer to a title shot Saturday.

Henry (5-0, 5 KOs) faces Roderick Stewart (2-2) in the main event of BKFC Fight Night Hammond at the Horseshoe in Hammond, Indiana, USA.

Henry has impressed since debuting for BKFC in 2023.

A 7-1 pro boxer, the 6 foot 3 Henry holds wins over BKFC veteran Tom Shoaff, UFC vet Robbie Peralta and pro boxer Derrick Findley. A win against Stewart, a replacement for former title challenger Jake Lindsey, keeps his name in conversation for a high-profile fight or possible title shot.

Stewart started his bare knuckle journey with consecutive losses to  heavyweight Haze Wilson and Brandon Shavers. He’s won his last 2 bouts against Bryant McClain and James Gray after moving down in weight.

Henry is the most talented opponent Stewart has faced in bare knuckle-he’ll have his work cut out for him.

The co-feature is a crossroads bout between local fighters Cameron Vancamp and Derrick Findley. Like the main event, it’s a middleweight (175 lbs) bout.

Both fighters lost their last bouts. Findley was stopped by main eventer Henry, while Vancamp was knocked out by current welterweight champ Julian Lane.

Findley’s defeat ended a three-fight winning streak.

Expect the taller Vancamp to try and use his height and reach advantages while Findley looks to close the distance.

In the BKFC Fight Night Hammond featured bout, flyweight veteran Tyler Randall (4-3) takes on Nate Maness (1-0).

Seven more bare knuckle fights are scheduled, including a heavyweight and womens’ bout.
