Unbeaten heavyweight contender Parker Porter has a new opponent for BKFC Fight Night Mohegan Sun on 28 March.
The local Connecticut fan favourite will now face Haze “The Hooligan” Wilson in the main event. Wilson replaces Josh Watson.
The 39-year-old Wilson is a familiar face to combat sports fans. The Oklahoma fighter has been a fixture in the Xtreme Fight Night promotion headed by American kickboxing pioneer Dale “Apollo” Cook.
Best known for his kickboxing skills, Wilson has also had success in bare knuckle. He brings a 4-1 record into the showdown with the unbeaten Porter (3-0). Wilson’s only bare knuckle defeat is a stoppage loss to Anthony Garrett. Porter defeated Garrett in a wild fight last December.
Also added to the card is local favourite Rico Disciullo (3-0). Disciullo will face Elijah Harris (2-1) in the co-main event.
Discillo, an MMA veteran who competed on The Ultimate Fighter, has shown impressive skills and firepower in stopping his first three bare knuckle opponents. Harris won his first two bouts before a stoppage defeat to Jeff Lentz last October.
BKFC Fight Night Mohegan Sun takes place on 28 March at the Mohegan Sun Hotel & Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut. Fans can watch the action live on the BKFC App and Triller TV, starting at 10pm Saturday evening UK time.
