Perry vs Stephens: Battle of UFC Fan Favourites
Both Mike Perry and Jeremy Stephens were popular UFC athletes before making the move to bare knuckle.
Perry (5-0, 3 Kos) debuted in 2022 with a decision win over current BKFC welterweight champion Julian Lane. He then
won a close decision over Michael Page, before stoppage wins against former UFC champs Luke Rockhold and Eddie Alvarez.
In his last BKFC bout, Perry extended his knockout streak to three bouts, winning by first-round TKO over Thiago Alves at Knucklemania IV.
Perry then competed in boxing where he was stopped by Jake Paul. He returns to BKFC for the first time since the Jake Paul loss.
Stephens (3-0, 2 KOs) headlined Knucklemania V in January, stopping Eddie Alvarez before a large crowd in Alvarez’s hometown of Philadelphia. The Iowa product, who fights out of San Diego, then lost a UFC bout by decision to Mason Jones in May.
Perry is the younger man (34 vs 39) and has fought in higher weight categories. He’s also a bit more experienced in bare knuckle (5 fights vs 3).
Stephens comes off the huge win over Alvarez. “Lil Heathen” defeated Alvarez in the biggest bare knuckle fight of 2025 before over 15,000 fans, and his confidence will be sky-high heading into the Perry showdown.
