The weigh-ins took place yesterday for tonight’s BKB 50: Evolution event in Miami.
Main event fighters Alberto Blas and Harold McQueen made weight for their title fight clash. The unbeaten Blas (7-0) and former champion McQueen do battle for the inaugural BKB Super Featherweight Title. Blas weighed in at 129.4 pounds, while McQueen tipped the scales at 129.6.
The BKB 50 co-main event sees reigning champion Jamie “The Red Queen” Driver defend the BKB Women’s Welterweight Title against Bianca Damoni. Driver weighed in at the welterweight limit of 147 pounds. Damoni was a pound lighter at 146.
Cecilia Ulloa weighed in at 115.6 pounds while Nelsey Torres came in at 114.4 for their women’s super flyweight title clash.
Former boxing contender Yuniesky Gonzalez and former title challenger Zion Tomlinson weighed in at 186 and 188 pounds for their cruiserweight bout.
Middleweight contender Henry Williams weighed in at 159.8 pounds, just under the 160 lb middlweight limit. Opponent Jordan Nash weighed 160.8 pounds.
Bare knuckle veteran Rene Rodriguez and Matt Socholotiuk weighed in at 165.2 and 166.4 pounds for their super middleweight bout.
Serob Minasyan weighed 148. BKB veteran Aaron McCallum weighed in at 146.6. The two meet in a welterweight bout.
Those are the main card weights. The BKB 50 main card begins at 8pm EST Saturday night, that’s 1am Sunday in the UK. Fans in the US and Canada can tune in to the action on the VICE Sports channel. UK and European fans can watch live and free on the talkSPORT Boxing YouTube Channel.
