Former boxing champion Austin Trout remained unbeaten in bare knuckle, defeating rival Luis Palomino by TKO Friday night.. The lightweight bout headlined BKFC 85 in Hollywood, Florida.
Trout had outpointed Palomino for the BKFC Welterweight Title last year. Both men moved down in weight, and the rematch was made as a lightweight tournament semifinal.
Once again, Trout’s boxing skills and quickness carried him to victory. He landed the cleaner blows and seemed in control when the fight was stopped before the fourth round. A Trout rightt jab cut Palomino above the left eye late in round three. The ringside doctor checked Palomino’s vision before telling the referee to stop the fight.
Justin Ibarrola Wins BKFC Bantamweight Title
Justin Ibarrola won the BKFC Bantamweight Title with a third-round stoppage over Ryan Reber in the co-main event.
Ibarrola was the aggressor throughout as Reber fought off the back foot. Early in the third, an Ibarrola left dropped Reber. Ibarrola continued the pressure and a right hand to the eye area dropped Reber for the count.
Perdomo Extended to Third Round
Leonardo Perdomo’s first round knockout streak ended against Corey Willis. The Cuban knocked Willis down early and seemed on his way to a quick victory.
Willis was able to survive and grab and made it to round three before Perdomo finally finished him. Perdomo improves to 10-0 (10 KOs) with the win.

Vicens Vicious in Victory
Former title challenger Christine Vicens defeated MMA veteran Carina Damm by first-round stoppage. Damm came out throwing before the fighters clinched. Vicens established control, and stunned Damm with a right hand before knocking her down with another right. The referee waved off the fight with Damm on the canvas.
