Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship added three more dates to its 2026 schedule this past week, including a return to Newcastle.
BKFC President David Feldman confirmed the promotion’s sixth visit to Newcastle during BKFC 86 this past Saturday.
The next BKFC Newcastle event takes place on 14 March, 2026.
BKFC debuted in “The Toon” in 2022. Two Newcastle events were held in both 2023 and 2024, and the promotion visited again in February 2025.
Former BKFC heavyweight champion Mick Terrill hails from the area, as does BKFC UK heayvweight champ Agi Faulkner and former title challenger Danny Christie.
The main event and venue are still to be announced. Feldman also announced Saturday that BKFC will debut in Hawaii in April. This past week, BKFC made official another event at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut on 28 March.
Tierney: BKFC Return to Birmingham Possible in May
BKFC welterweight contender Connor Tierney spoke with Louie the Reporter at the inaugural Gorilla Promotions event in Liverpool this past Saturday.
Tierney was asked about his next fight.
“Back in the gym. We’ve spoken with the American promoter and it looks like we could be doing Birmingham in May. Hopefully, for a world title,” Tierney said.
Tierney spoke of facing the winner of the Dustin Pague-Julian Lane welterweight title fight. Pague won the belt from former champion Lane by unanimous decision this past Saturday at BKFC 86.
The Birmingham fighter hasn’t stepped inside BKFC’s Squared Circle since defeating Danny Christie last June. He’s currently rated third in the BKFC contender rankings.
Tierney also discussed fighting for Misfits and ticket sales for his last fight, among other topics.
Danny Christie: “I Want Aaron Chalmers”
Louie the Broadcaster also spoke with former title challenger Danny Christie. Christie has been inactive in BKFC since the Tierney loss last June. The fight Christie is interested in is a clash with former Geordie Shore cast member and retired MMA fighter Aaron Chalmers, who is 2-0 in BKFC.
“The fight I’m looking for- I want Aaron Chalmers,” said Christie.
“It got put to me. I never asked for it. It got put to me, I said yes. And I haven’t really heard nothing,” he said.
“That’s a good fight that makes sense at the moment.”
