BYB 32 Leeds Brawl Results and Highlights

BYB 32 took place tonight before a sold-out crowd in Leeds, England.

Here are results.

In the opening bout, Harvey Dossett improved to 3-1 with a second-round TKO win against Aaron Sinclair (2-2). Dossett stunned Sinclair, and started ripping hooks and uppercuts to the body and head. With nothing coming back from Sinclair, the ref had no choice but to stop the fight.

Next up was a clash between Poland’s Marcin Kosiak and Sam Jamshidi. Jamshidi fought off the back foot versus Kosiak, the bout’s aggressor.

He seemed to have the edge but gassed out. The fight was stopped by Jamshidi’s corner after round three, giving Kosiak the win in both mens’ BYB debuts.

Seamus Devlin won his BYB debut. The pro boxing veteran dropped Cyrus Rafi en route to a decision win.

Alex Wilson dropped Matthew Morton early before stopping him late in round one.

Jacqueline Ayala debuted successfully, winning a unanimous decision over Jaica Pavilus.

Veteran Dean “Smudger” Smith successfully returned to bare knuckle fighting. Smith won by TKO over Reese Murray, when Murray couldn’t continue after breaking his hand. The injury happened in round one, with the fight stopped between rounds.

Mark Tiffin won his second BYB bout, defeating veteran Paul Hilz by doctor’s stoppage. Hilz was deemed unable to continue because of cuts after the first round.

Harry Gigliotti captured the BYB Police Gazette Super Lightweight Title. The Massachussetts, USA fighter survived Joe Fitzpatrick’s early attack, ending the fight with a left hook to the body late in round one.

Then, it was time for the main event. Liam “Rocky” Rees and Scott McHugh battled hard before Rees connected with a right hand that ended the fight in round three. Rees won the inaugural BYB Super Welterweight Title.
