Kai Stewart outworked Harry Gigliotti to successfully defend his featherweight title at BKFC 92. The fight card was held before a large crowd at historic Fenway Park in Boston.
Stewart worked his unorthodox style to perfection, moving in and out with quick shots, effective clinching, good defence and excellent conditioning. Gigliotti was competitive and landed some clean shots on the granite-chinned Stewart but couldn’t match Stewart’s output. The judges scored the bout unanimously for Stewart, with scores of 49-46, 48-47 and 48-47.

“Listen guys, I’m fucking grateful. I’m the fucking best at this sport. I created this sport, said Stewart, who became the first man to successfully defend a title six times in BKFC. He improved to 10-0 (2 Kos) with the win.
Stewart announced after the bout his fiancee is expecting their first child in February. He doesn’t plan to fight again until after the baby’s born.
Gigliotti, the former BKB super lightweight champion, suffered his first bare knuckle defeat. He’s 6-1 now but showed he can compete wth one of the world’s best bare knuckle fighters.
Ferea Retains “Queen of Violence” Title; Calls Out Cyborg
Women’s pound-for-pound fighter Christine Ferea retained her “Queen of Violence” belt by second-round knockout over Argentina’s Sophia Landi.
Late in a quiet first found, Ferea stunned Landi with a right, A follow up left-right combo dropped the Argentine.
Ferea stunned Landi early in round two with another right, with follow up punches dropping her again. Landi got up but stumbled back to the canvas and the fight was stopped.

“I just wanted to land my right hand,” Ferea told BKFC’s Chris Lytle after the bout.
“At 138, 135, I’m knocking people out,” said the longtime women’s featherweight champion, who improved to 12-1 (9 Kos) with the victory. Landi, who went viral as a female participant in the unsanctioned King of the Streets promotion, is now 1-1.
Lytle asked Ferea if she’d like to face women’s MMA legend Cris Cyborg in a bare knuckle fight.
“Cris, come out of retirement. I love you. You’re the fucking GOAT. But I wanna face you. I looked up to you my whole career. Let’s do it. Real fighting, bare knuckle, BKFC. Let’s go Cris,” said Ferea.
“Big Dog” Martin Breaks Down Rico DiSciullo
Tray “Big Dog” Martin came off the canvas to wear down and stop local hero Rico DiSciullo in a featherweight matchup.
A llikeable underdog, Martin has made a habit of coming on strong late and upsetting the favourite. He scored a late knockdown and outworked previously unbeaten Nathan Rivera for a close win in June. Against Disciullo, he once again showed perserverance and toughness often prevail in bare knuckle.
DiSciullo dropped Martin with a right uppercut in the second round and landed some solid shots. But Martin kept coming and eventually broke DiSciullo down.
After a Disciullo flurry in round four, Martin continued coming forward, pressuring and connecting, with a body shot dropping the fading DiSciullo.

Disciullo got up and the two went toe-to-toe. A Martin left hook dropped Disciullo for the second time.
Blood leaking from his mouth, Disciullo stayed down for the count, giving Martin his third win in as many BKFC fights.
“Man, I felt the shots, they landed clean,” Martin said, when asked by Lytle if he was hurt badly by the uppercut that dropped him in round two.
“But I’m the big dog. I still haven’t been knocked out. In my 28th pro fight, let’s go,” he said.
“Yes sir, I was coming with everything I got,” Martin said, when asked if his strategy was to get inside and wear down Disciullo.
