After a big KO win at Knucklemania, the controversial and charismatic Charles “Felony” Bennett has his next fight set.
Bennett will face Hawaii’s own Toby Misech at BKFC Fight Night Honolulu on 11 April.
The 46-year-old Bennett, well known for in-ring antics and out of the ring legal issues during a lengthy fight career, earned his first BKFC win last month after three losses. Bennett defeated Pat Sullivan by second-round stoppage.

The impressive win earned Bennett a quick ring return against Misech. Misech, 38, is an MMA veteran like Bennett, and competed in Bellator and Japan’s Rizin promotion.
The Hilo, Hawaii resident has fought twice without gloves. He was stopped by Seth Shaffer and Julio Tanori in BYB bouts in 2022.
Misech returned to MMA after the losses. The Bennett bout gives him the chance to get his first bare knuckle win against a combat sports icon in front of a hometown crowd.
The BKFC Fight Night Honolulu main event is between UFC veteran and Hawaii local Maki Pitolo and veteran Doug Coltrane (3-2). Coltrane started his BKFC career well. He won his first three bouts before losses to David Mundell and Zeb Vincent. He’s in desperate need of a win against newcomer Pitolo.
The other confirmed bout is between Hawaii’s Ke’ali’i Kanekoa and Joseph Creer.
Kanekoa is an MMA veteran, and has also competed in pro boxing and slap fighting. His opponent Creer (5-3) is a seasoned veteran who handed previously unbeaten Taylor Bull his first loss at BKFC Fight Night Michigan.
BKFC Fight Night Honolulu takes place on 12 April at Honolulu’s Blaisdell Arena. Tickets are on sale via Ticketmaster.
