Two of BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing’s biggest free agent signings are set to debut on 20 November at BKB’s inaugural event in Dover, Delaware.
Former BKFC title challenger Jade Masson-Wong and former BKFC contender James “Get Down” Brown will both enter the Mighty Trigon for the first time. Bally’s Fightnight by BKB takes place at the Bally’s Dover Casino Resort.
The 34-year-old Wong holds a 4-2 bare knuckle record and has also competed professionally in boxing and MMA. Nicknamed “Evil Smile”, the Quebec native unsuccessfully challenged Christine Ferea for the BKFC Women’s Flyweight Title, losing a unanimous decision. Wong defeated contender Taylor Starling and veteran Crystal Pittman during her time in BKFC.
Wong’s beauty and fighting skills have earned her a large social media following. BKB signed Wong in February before her MMA fight against Aline Pereira on the Rousey-Carano undercard in May.
Wong lost a split decision to Pereira. She’ll make her bare knuckle return and BKB debut against Monica Franco (1-2).
Franco defeated Khortni Kamyron in her bare knuckle debut before losses to Rosalinda Rodriguez and former BKB champion Monica Medina.
“Get Down” Brown to Face Kylle McMillan
Former BKFC featherweight contender Brown (5-1, 3 KOs) will meet McMillan (3-1, 2 KOs) in a matchup of two fighters coming off stoppage wins over previously unbeaten opponents.
Brown handed Dan “Indian Spice” Chapman his first defeat at BKFC 83 in Italy, stopping the Wales fighter in four rounds.
McMillan defeated Darian Leu-Pierre by first-round stoppage at BKB 58 in Miami.
The Brown-McMillan winner could be a future title challenger for BKB Welterweight Champion Javon Wright. Wright previously defeated McMillan by unanimous decision at BKB 31 in September 2024.
Lundy Headlines, Sparks Confirmed
The Bally’s Fightnight by BKB Dover event fight card features new signings in Brown, Wong, and former boxing contender Hank Lundy. Lundy faces Jairo Santos in the main event.
A heavyweight bout is also confirmed. It’s a “Battle of Smiths” as Braxton Smith (1-1) faces Branden Smith.
Unbeaten heavyweight prospect Jesse Sparks is also scheduled for action against an opponent to be confirmed. Sparks (2-0, 2 KOS) has won his first two BKB fights in less than a minute.
