New Zealand heavyweight Haze Hepi will get a chance to avenge his sole bare knuckle loss next month.
The Maori tribesman, now living on Australia’s Gold Coast, will face Krzysztof Wisniewski at BKFC Australia on 18 April.
Hepi (3-1, 2 KOs) faced Wisniewski (2-0, 2 KOs) at BKFC Rome last October. He was knocked down in round one by the UK based Pole but bounced back to win rounds two and three. Before round four, Wisniewski was declared the TKO winner because of a cut Hepi suffered on his left eyelid.
Hepi will get the chance at payback next month in BKFC’s first-ever visit to Australia. BKFC Australia will be held at the Townsville Convention Center in Townsville, Queensland, Australia.
Hepi-Wisniewski is the only bout announced so far for BKFC Australia. More bouts will be announced in the coming weeks.
