Quentin Gaskins showed he’s a force to be reckoned with.
The hard-hitting featherweight needed just two rounds to defeat Matt Guymon Friday night in Clearwater, Florida. The bout headlined BKFC Fight Night Clearwater 2.
Guymon came out hands low, throwing lefts and feinting. Gaskins walked him down.
Guymon was marked up underneath the eye by the one-minute mark. Gaskins landed a solid body shot and uppercut with his opponent on the ropes.

A beautiful Gaskins right, set up by a left hand measure, blasted out Guymon’s mouthpiece and dropped him for the fight’s first knockdown.

In round two, Gaskins continued the battering, buckling Guymon early in the round.
The game Guymon ducked and chucked and moved but couldn’t escape. Gaskins scored another knockdown and it was just a matter of time.

A right uppercut-right body shot-right uppercut-left hook combo sent Guymon to the canvas. He put his hands on the ropes as referee Andrew Glenn counted to ten.
Gaskins said he stuck to the script.
“Like I said, ‘I’ma walk the dog on this boy.’ That’s exactly what we did,” Gaskins told BKFC’s Cyrus Fees after the bout.
“We came in. We did the gameplan,” he said.
“Listen, regardless of weight class, I’m one of the hardest hitting guys in this league.”

Ryan Reber Drops and Decisions Joshua Oxendine
In the BKFC Fight Night Clearwater 2 co-feature, former title challenger Ryan Reber bounced back with a one-sided decision victory over Joshua “The Preacherman” Oxendine. The judges scored the bout in favour of Reber by scores of 49-44, 49-44, and 48-45.
Reber’s right hand was the difference. Twice, he moved in with right hands that caught Oxendine on the chin and dropped the Native American fighter. The first knockdown came in round two, and you could see Oxendine’s eyes roll on his way down to the canvas. But Reber couldn’t finish him, and then knocked him down again early in round three.
“I work with the best boxing team in the game. My strength and conditioning coach. And these fucking people, let’s go,” Reber told Fees after the fight, thanking the local crowd who backed him with chants of “Reber”.
Reber said he wants to fight the winner of the Nate Maness-Jamel Herring fight taking place on 22 May at BKFC 89 in Palm Desert, California. The onetime BKFC tryout winner has his eyes set on another chance at the bantamweight title. Reber (7-2-1) was stopped by Alberto Blas in his first title challenge in September 2024 and lost his last bout to Justin Ibarrola.
Paprocki Impresses in Featured Fight
The BKFC Fight Night Clearwater 2 featured bout matched Kat Paprocki (2-1) and Crystal “The Lovely” Van Wyk (2-3), the popular South African fighting out North Carolina. Paprocki gave Van Wyk a boxing lesson and prevailed by unanimous decision. Official scores were 50-45 and 49-46 (twice).
The taller Paprocki caught Van Wyk moving forward with lefts, and cut Van Wyk near the left eye in round one. Paprocki used a high guard or moved away to defend.

By round two, Paprocki controlled the fight and motioned Van Wyk to come forward. Van Wyk tried to get into range but continued to eat knuckles or miss as Paprocki moved.

Sensing the fight was slipping out of reach, Van Wyk attacked with more urgency in round four. Paprocki continued to get the best of the action in the fifth to earn a clear decision.

Brandon Allen Wins in Squared Circle Return
In another notable bout, featherweight prospect Brandon Allen improved to 6-2 with a first-round stoppage of Lukas Jones. Allen knocked Jones down twice. Jones wobbled after he got up from the second knockdown and the fight was stopped.
Allen, who trains alongside middleweight king David Mundell and women’s featherweight champion Jessica Borgia at Shift MMA, returned from a one-year layoff. He was stopped by featherweight contender Nico Gaffie in April 2025 in Dubai.
