Darren Till to Debut at BKFC Birmingham on 30 May

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship’s return to Birmingham just got even bigger.

BKFC announced UFC veteran turned boxer Darren Till has inked with the company and will fight ungloved for the first time on 30 May at BKFC 90 in Birmingham. Till’s debut compliments the highly-anticipated main event between Rico Franco and hometown hero Connor Tierney.

“I am very pleased to be signing with the BKFC. It’s an amazing promotion! Fuck everyone on this roster, I’m coming to be the face of violence. No one can beat me,” Till said.

“We’re expanding rapidly in the United Kingdom; BKFC-90 is a huge event and the perfect place for Darren to make his BKFC debut,” said BKFC President David Feldman.

Till’s opponent is yet to be announced.

Nicknamed “The Gorilla”, the 33-year-old Till became a star in the UFC, where he competed between 2015 and 2022. Till fought for the world’s top MMA organisation a dozen times, and faced the likes of former world champions Tyron Woodley and Robert Whittaker and popular contender Jorge Masvidal.

In recent years, Till switched his attention to gloved boxing. He fought for KSI’s Misfits Boxing promotion three times last year. He went 3-0 as a Misfits fighter including a MASSIVE KO of former UFC champ Luke Rockhold.

Tills’ debut will bring a lot of attention and excitement to BKFC’s return to Birmingham. The event takes place on 30 May at the Utilita Arena. Tickets can be purchased via axs.com.
