Social media influencer and bare knuckler Bryce Hall will take on Kimbo Slice Jr at Knucklemania V on 25 January in Philadelphia. The fight was announced at today’s KnuckleMania V press conference.
The 25-year-old Hall is a massive presence on Tik Tok, where he has an audience of 23.6 million followers. He also has over 3 million followers on YouTube. Hall will be making his second BKFC appearance. He previously beat Gee Perez at BKFC 48.
Kimbo Slice Jr, real name Kevin Ferguson Jr, is the son of the late legend Kimbo Slice. Slice Jr, a Bellator MMA and Misfits Boxing veteran, makes his bare knuckle debut. The 32-year-old has a 3-3 MMA record.
Also official for BKFC Knuckle Mania V is a women’s bout between former champion Bec Rawlings and former title challenger Taylor Starling.
Starling debuted at the very first Knuckle Mania, defeating Charisa Sigala in one of the best women’s bare knuckle fights of all time. She’s back for the fifth Knuckle Mania, taking on the inaugural women’s champ Rawlings. Starling lost a close decision to Britain Hart for the BKFC Strawweight Title this past August. “The Killa Bee” looks to get back into contention against Rawlings.
“I hope she can make weight. She’s a bad bitch. I’m ready to throw down and I know we’re gonna bring the heat,” Starling said at the press conference.
The Knucklemania V main event is between Eddie Alvarez and Jeremy Stephens. The two UFC veterans traded barbs at today’s press conference.
A number of local Philly fighters attended the press conference, and will compete at Knucklemania V. Veteran Travis Thompson will be part of the card.
