2000 Olympic Silver Medalist and former UFC title challenger Yoel “Soldier of God” Romero has called out fellow UFC vet Darren Till for a bare knuckle fight.
BKFC President David Feldman said Romero “inquired about and called out” Darren Till during a face-to-face conversation with Feldman at Thursday’s BKFC Fight Night Hollywood event.
“He wants to fight Darren Till in England. We’re going to see if we can make that happen,” said Feldman.

The ageless Romero, nicknamed “Soldier of God” for his devout Christian beliefs, is 1-1 in bare knuckle fighting. He successfully debuted in BKFC with a stoppage over Theo Doukas, knocking Doukas down three times in round two after a feeling out first round.
Romero then ventured to Russia where he lost a controversial decision to Russia’s Vagab Vagabov at IBA Bare Knuckle 5.
Romero’s last fight was bare knuckle MMA. The 49-year-old Cuban legend broke Alex Nicholson’s jaw with a single left hand after a takedown to win by first-round submission at Jorge Masvidal’s Gamebred MMA event in Miami.
Till is slated to have his second bare knuckle fight at BKFC’s massive event in Manchester on 26 September. A fight between the two former UFC stars would be huge.
After competing in gloved influencer boxing after leaving the UFC, Till signed a multi-fight agreement with BKFC earlier this year. He successfully debuted last weekend in Birmingham with a second-round knockout of BKFC veteran and former Geordie Shore cast member Aaron Chalmers.
