Kuhne came out blasting. He knocked Whitehead down seconds into round one, and kept up the attack. Whitehead landed clean shots here and there but it was all Kuhne. Whitehead went down a second time in round one.

Prasovic TKO’s “Bam Bam”

Former boxing contender Mark “Bam Bam” Flanagan’s bare knuckle debut ended in a loss. Flanagan ate some sharp counters from Dilan Prasovic and the fight was stopped by the doctors before round two. Flanagan had a nasty swelling under his right eye.

“Surprise surprise, motherfucker,” Prasovic told the interviewer as the local crowd booed the Montenegran

Flanagan started quickly but the slick Prasovic, an active pro boxer, was up to the task and countered effectively. Prasovic landed a clean check hook and right hand, among other shots. Flanagan looked the worse for wear as he headed back to his corner. He wouldn’t get the chance to try and turn the fight around.

Speaking through a cornerman translator, Prasovic agreed with the stoppage. He improves to 2-0 (2 KOs) with the victory.

Haze Hepi Gains Revenge

Haze Hepi made one of the most colourful entrances in BKFC history, accompanied to the ring by tribal warriors.

The Maori tribesman, a New Zealand native now living in Australia, also put on a show.

Hazi (4-1) impressively avenged his sole bare knuckle defeat with a second-round TKO over Krzyzstof Wisniewski (2-1). Wisniewski defeated Hepi by doctor’s stoppage at BKFC Rome last October.

The fighters jabbed and studied each other early. Wisniewski’s left hand bloodied Hepi’s nose. Late in the round, Hepi caught Winsiewski with a big right that dropped the UK based Pole.

Hepi’s right hand was the difference. He caught Wisniewski with another big right for the second knockdown. After Wisniewski gamely got up, another Hepi right felled him for the third and final time. Referee Big Dan called off the fight.

BKFC President David Feldman was ringside and congratulated Hepi in the ring after the win.
