Official weights are in from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA for Friday’s BKFC Fight Night Bethlehem event at the Wind Creek Events Center.
The action streams live on the BKFC App and DAZN, with the action starting at 8pm ET, which is 1am Saturday in the UK.
Cisneros, Petersen Make Weight for Main Event
BKFC welterweight contender and former BYB champion Gregoris Cisneros (5-2) came in under the 165 lb welterweight limit for the main event. Cisneros weighed 164.6 lbs.
Opponent Ryan Petersen (3-2) came in at the welterweight limit of 165 lbs. Petersen started his career with two straight wins before stoppage losses to champion Dustin Pague and Mongolia’s Enkhtur Bayartsogt.
He’ll come in as an underdog against the powerpunching Cisneros, who holds stoppage wins over BKB champ Cub Hawkins and backyard legend Rene “Whiteboy” Rodriguez.
Ludlow, Schultz Clash at Weigh-Ins; Ludlow Calls out Lorenzo Hunt
The BKFC Fight Night Bethlehem Co-Main Event pits unbeaten cruiserweight Lex Ludlow (4-0) against the less experienced Sean Schultz (0-1).
The two fighters had to be separated by security yesterday after things got heated.
The trash talking Ludlow, billed as “The Most Hated Man in Combat Sports”, and Schultz spoke with BKFC’s Cyrus Fees after the skirmish. Both vowed to knock the other “on his ass”.
“I’ma gonna put him on his ass tomorrow for his birthday, Bubba. That’s what I’ma do,” Schultz told Fees.
Ludlow, who turns 33 today, said “I’m gonna put this bum on his ass and make him never want to fight ever again.”
“And then, I’m gonna call out the JUGGERNUT. Lorenzo C**T (BKFC Light Heavyweight and Ironweight Champion Lorenzo “Juggernaut” Hunt).”
“And then, maybe I’ll bless that bitch No Hawk (BKFC Cruiserweight Champion Esteban “Mohawk” Rodriguez) with an opportunity against me.”
Big words from Ludlow, who is currently the promotion’s second-ranked cruiserweight behind Bryant Acheson. An impressive win over Schultz will move him closer to the high profile fight he’s looking for.
