BKFC returns to Sturgis for the third consecutive year this Saturday, the 8th of August. The BKFC Fight Night Sturgis 2026 event takes place during the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, which draws thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts to Sturgis, South Dakota.
Headlining this year’s fight card is a showdown betweeen cruiserweight contenders. Number one ranked Bryant Acheson takes on rising Mike Jones.
Acheson (5-0, 4 KOs) makes his BKFC return after a couple of wins in regional promotion Fusion Fight League in his home state of Montana. Acheson has only been past two rounds once – a unanimous decision win over fellow contender Joseph Creer in 2024. A win cements Acheson as worthy of a title fight against current champion Alessio Sakara or interim titlist Esteban “Mohawk” Rodriguez.
After losing his bare knuckle debut to Erick Lozano, Jones (4-1, 2 KOs) has won four straight matches. He won a decision over veteran Leo Bercier last December. In his last bout, Jones stopped fringe contender Stephen “Tomahawk” Townsel in the first round in Florida. Acheson will be his toughest test to date.
In the co-feature, heavyweights Shelby “Bear” Hill (2-1) and Brady Meister (3-2) do battle.
South Dakota native Shyanna Bintliff (2-2) takes on fan favourite Crystal “The Rugged Beauty” Pittman (3-4) in a women’s bout.
