After five well-fought but slow rounds, the judges favoured Ferea by scores of 49-46 twice and 46-49. There were boos after the decision was read, likely another reflection of the bout’s lack of fireworks.
Former UFC fighter Jeremy Stephens Wins Second Bare Knuckle Bout
UFC veteran Jeremy Stephens showed he’s a force in the bare knuckle fighting world. Stephens dominated Bobby Taylor, knocking the veteran contender down three times to earn a unanimous decision.
Official scores were 49-45 on all three cards.
Stephens rocked Taylor in round one. Taylor went back to his corner with a cut left eye and swelling near his left ear.
Taylor had a better round two before getting dropped by a big Stephens right in round three.
Stephens continued to boss the action, knocking Taylor down with a left jab in round four.
Taylor was cut over both eyes and swelling underneath. He took a knee late in round five as he struggled to see clearly.
Stephens improved to 2-0 in BKFC with the win.
