BKFC Back With Weekend Bare Knuckle Doubleheader

It’s a Halloween weekend filled with goblins, ghouls, blood and knockouts.

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship returns with not one but two events this weekend in the USA. Just a fortnight after their massive BKFC on DAZN event in Spain.

The action begins Friday with BKFC 67 in Denver. UFC and Glory kickboxing veteran Chris Camozzi collides with Sawyer Depee for the promotion’s vacant cruiserweight belt.

The title was previously held by two-time champion Lorenzo Hunt, who is currently suspended by the California State Athletic Commission after testing positive for prohibited substances.

It’s Camozzi’s second crack at the belt. He unsuccessfully challenged Hunt for the title last year, losing by split decision. The Colorado fighter is 2-1 in BKFC-both wins by stoppage.

He takes on the more experienced Depee, 5-2 in BKFC competition.

Depee makes things easy for the judges. Either he knocks out his opponent, or he’s on the receiving end of a stoppage.

All five of his wins came in the first round. Both Depee’s losses are by second-round KO/TKO. If it goes past one, he may be done.

Bellator MMA veteran Brandon Girtz meets Cameron VanCamp in the BKFC 67 co-feature. Girtz lost his BKFC debut to welterweight contender Jake Lindsay, but rebounded with a first-round stoppage against Christian Torres.

VanCamp is also an MMA veteran. Like Girtz, he also brings a 1-1 BKFC record into the bout. VanCamp stopped Micah Terrill in two rounds last February, after losing a decision to Jeremie Holloway last year.

Nine other bouts are scheduled, including a Featured Fight between 2-0 Marcus Edwards and 1-1 Pat Casey. A women’s bout pits debuting Kat Paprocki against veteran Sydney Smith.

BKFC 67 will be streamed live on the BKFC app, starting at 2am Saturday UK time (7pm local Denver time). Triller TV is also streaming the event.

BKFC Prospects: Myrtle Beach

Less than 24 hours after BKFC 67, the latest installment of the BKFC Prospects series go down. The location is Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The action kicks off at 10pm UK time Saturday evening, which is 5pm local time in Myrtle Beach.

Unbeaten South Carolina local Brandon Bushaw (2-0, 1 NC) runs it back with Rick Caruso (1-4, 1 NC) after their first fight was declared a no-contest in May 2023.

Jeremiah Scott will try to improve to 2-0 in the co-feature against Dakota Highpine (1-3).

In the BKFC Prospects: Myrtle Beach Featured Fight, Justin Howell and Lewis Glover debut in a cruiserweight showdown.

Four other bare-knuckle bouts are currently scheduled. For an updated fight card, check out the BKFC Prospects: Myrtle Beach official fight page.

The event will stream live via the BKFC app. Triller TV is also broadcasting the event.
